UPDATE FOR 2025

Discussion and changes made at the 2024 AGM

At the 2024 Annual General Meeting held in November, office holders were elected for 2025. A number of motions were discussed and carried that will take effect from 2025. These motions were suggested to help the RTA reduce its expenditure. The decisions made mean that the RTA will no longer provide lunch at each general meeting although extras for special occasions such as the Christmas Meeting will still be provided from the RTA budget. For some years the RTA has provided Christmas cakes to members in the year they turn 80. As a result of the significant increase in the cost of postage and the discussion & decision made at the AGM, this practice will be replaced by a card sent to those members turning 80 years of age.
