CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF THE RTA 

A wonderful centenary celebration was held on the 13th August at Federation House.

One of the many highlights was a rendition of 'Song of the Associate' sung by The Mooncatchers Choir. This song used to be sung at the beginning of RTA meetings.

We will be celebrating our centenary on Thursday 13th August @ 12pm. Tickets for the event need to be purchased - see previous post about purchasing tickets if you wish to attend.

There will be no August meeting due to the centenary lunch.

NSW RETIRED TEACHERS' CENTENARY LUNCH   I am pleased to invite you to the NSW Retired Teachers Association Centenary Lunch on Thursday 13 August 2026 at Teachers Federation House, 23–33 Mary Street, Surry Hills.   The event will include: the launch of Chronicle V, a history of the RTA’s activities from 1986 to 2026 a guest speaker a display of artifacts from Federation’s archives.
